Nibepo Aike is the only excursion to visit a tourist estancia in El Calafate, which continues to practice the traditional tasks that characterize them and for which the Patagonian estancias became famous.

The Huyliche, Anita and Alto Vista ranches were crossed, making stops at panoramic points that allow us to see the Andes Mountain Range and the Argentino and Roca lakes from unusual perspectives.
Upon arrival at Estancia Nibepo Aike, you will be greeted with tea, coffee, mate and fried cakes or homemade puddings. There will be a walk around the old ranch house while the guide recounts the history of the first settlers of the place and the area’s livestock farm. Then, they will participate in the sheep shearing and herding activities, there will be a demonstration of Creole skills performed by gauchos and they will be able to take a walk to the shore of the lake or Cerro Cristal from where an incredible panoramic view of the Perito Moreno Glacier is offered. You can also do a 48-minute horseback ride that is optional along the shore of Roca Lake.
While staying in Nibepo Aike, the guide will be on hand to tell the history of the place. geography, fauna and native flora.
To end the excursion and a magnificent day in the field, you will enjoy lunch in the ranch’s barbecue area, which includes roasted Patagonian lamb with salads and dessert. Non-alcoholic drinks and house wine are also included. There is an organic vegetarian lunch option upon prior request.
The visit to Nibepo Alke ends by returning to El Calafate along the same ranch route taken on the way out, after having visited the only tourist ranch located within Los Glaciares National Park.
Around 10:30 pm the excursion ends and you start the trip back to your hotel.
