Cerro Frías, is isolated in the middle of a valley, allowing you to enjoy during the ascent spectacular panoramic views of the Centinella Valley and the Torres del Paine (Chilean National Park: To the west, the Magellan and Avellaneda Peninsulas and, to the north, Cerro Fitz Roy. La Vista also encompasses the main body of Lago Argentino, its Rico and Norte branches, and Boca Del Diablo, located within the lands belonging to Estancia Alice, 23Km from El Calafate and on the way to the Perito Moreno Glacier.

Cerro Frías is a magnificent opportunity to see the region’s wild flora and fauna as well as ranch animals. In addition to the shrub vegetation, characteristic of the Patagonian steppe, you can appreciate the Lenga Tree Forest on the southern slope of Cerro Frías.

At the estancia we offer 4 guided tourism-adventure activities, which are carried out simultaneously through different circuits of Cerro Frías: 4×4, ZipLine traverse, Trekking and Horseback Riding. We have 3 daily departures so that no one misses the opportunity to live an unforgettable experience in an amazing natural environment.

• 4×4: We start the activities ascending the mountain by mountain roads with views of the main body of Lake Argentino until we stop at the first viewpoint located at 450m.a.s.l., with views of the Centinella River Valley.
We continue ascending to the second viewpoint – 1030 m.a.s.l. – with views of the Torres del Paine, the Rico and South branches of Lake Argentino, the Boca del Diablo, the highest peaks of the Andes and the Fitz Roy Hill. The journey continues descending through our native lenga forest along the southern slope of the mountain, culminating in the barbecue area of the ranch.

Horseback riding: We begin the tour crossing a mallín, to then climb the slopes of the mountain. After the first 30 minutes we will have views of the Centinella Valley and Torres del Paine. The route continues ascending until arriving to the high fields of the hill, where eventually the cattle of the ranch (cows) and wild animals like guanacos, hares, foxes, armadillos and skunks can be appreciated. After appreciating the landscapes, the descent begins until arriving to the quincho of the hull of the ranch.
