Cerro Huyliche is a half-day tour in which you tour the hill to spot the native fauna: guanacos, foxes, hares, bandurrias, caranchos and falcons, among other species.
First, our 4×4 vehicle crosses the winding, ascending road surrounded by erratic blocks, witnesses of the power of glacial erosion, allowing us to see erratic blocks, sediment and pieces of fossilized vegetation.
It is possible that on clear days they can be seen from Cerro Stokes to the Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre hills, in Chaltén. Also, if the valley is cloudy, the Andes Mountains may be seen above the clouds.
In addition to the unforgettable views of Lake Argentino, Brazo Rico, the Devil’s Throat and the Cordillera, the location of Los Balcones becomes an ideal place to appreciate the majestic flight of the Andean Condor, the largest bird in Continental Patagonia.
