  Ascent to La Sección

  After a 15 km ascent, we’ll reach the Estancia 25 de Mayo section, the starting point for our exciting bike adventure. Here, the MTB bikes are waiting for us to begin the journey.

  Wildlife Exploration

  Safari Bike Experience gives us the opportunity to see a wide variety of Patagonian wildlife, from majestic guanacos to agile foxes,patagonian rheas, condors and eagles. We cross the Guanaco Valley, enjoying breathtaking views of Verlika and Baguales hills.

  Stop at the Chenque

  We arrive at a Chenque, an ancient Tehuelche burial place, where we’ll stop to rest, hydrate and contemplate the immensity of Patagonia.

  Return to La Sección

  We wrap up our journey in La Sección, where we’ll be welcomed with a delicious lunch before descending back to El Calafate in our 4WD vehicles.

    The bike ride is 16 km (2 hs), with a 200 meters difference in altitude.

  • Is the tour available all year?

    The tour is available from November 15 to April 30. It’s not possible to do the activity with the low temperatures that occur during the autumn and winter months.
